0930_23: It appears they designed this so you would have the winner in the current contest Laura.
Excellent display, lighting and textures.
Many of the Amish in my area still use many of these tools. I have used a couple myself.
Congrats in advance.

corngrowth: Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this fine image is to me a feast of recognition. In my imagination I can smell the typical fragrance in my mother's kitchen again while she was baking cookies. She had similar cookie cutters as well. When the cookies were ready, but still were warm, she offered me always one to try whether her baking result was successful. Of course there was always my confirmation.
Wish that I could revive this situation once more again.
Thanks for this nostalgic post.

mesmerized: Congratulations, John!...great work.
0930_23: Your creation is all "jazzed up" and really looks good John.
It would do well in the "tools of the trade" contest.
I used to live in Chaos, but it became too crowded so I moved to Confusion. It is on the way to Bedlam.
Wonderful work and excellent musical accompaniment.
