The perfect place on a perfect day and you captured it perfectly. What a place to share with someone special. I would still be thier and would never go back to work.
I take it this has nothing to do with JimBob's Cuzin Jasper. I'm sure if you laid on a plentiful supply of BudLites he'd be only too happy to spend some time here. I know I would.
"I'm never going to be famous. My name will never be writ large on the roster of Those Who Do Things. I don't do any thing. Not one single thing. I used to bite my nails, but I don't even do that any more." -
Dorothy Parker (1893-1967)
Something inside me just loves the "mini-mountains" (the big stones) in the foreground and the "maxi-mountains" (the Rockies) in the background! A symmetry, with the river leading the eye correctly. I also like the limited colors... with the tan-to-gold extending from the stones and grasses in the front clear to the back. I think this is a very well-planned picture.
WOW John, what gorgeous and breath taking scene, right into my favs. I can almost hear the stream and the wonderful mountain air, thanks it brings back wonderful memories.
Simply beautiful! I really like the lighting on the trees! they act as a dark line separating the water in the foreground from the mountains in the background. Lovely!
Fabulous take! .. Such a great expanse and scene!.
