It's all about the monochrome. Spent a good 4 hrs on this one in Photoshop. Combining 2 shots and turning day into night. I ended up with a few versions. The light rays where created by using motion blur and distort. Many layers and differnt effects. Enjoy.

Four hours! Wow you must have fun in there. lol I do like what comes of your time though. This looks quite ominous, almost like something is going to descend from the clouds. Like heaven is opening up and 'stuff' is going to happen to bad people represented by the darkend house. I don't think I could keep up with you on this level. NIce work, Jay.

I like this dark side. The rays make me think of the moonlight behind clouds. An air of mystery too. Would make a great jacket cover for a novel.
