Made this in Computer Art -- it took a couple hours. I hope you like this. I'm really proud of it and I've been working to get something into the permanent galleries, cos I only have one thing there so far. :P Improving myself!

Well, I for one think it's amazing! It's intriguing to look at close up - so much to see in it. Clearly you put a lot of work into it. Hope it does well in the voting booth! cheers, Quiet

Well, if you're referring to the Russian Witch in the story, then I think you've done a very fine job on this :)

It is the Russian witch, yes. :) Thank you both very much!

You have to systematically create confusion, it sets creativity free. Everything that is contradictory creates life.

Well, I'll have to look this witch up! This is quite interesting and I can see you've spent a lot of quality time doing her up! Very nice! ~Mary~

It looks marvellous. Not knowing the story, I wouldn't have thought of a witch seeing this. It made me think of something more like "news through the ages" - news called in the streets, early newspapers, modern printing press runs... with different scripts and languages, layered with pictures of people, statues...

I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

Wonderful, wonderful work. It strikes that balance between simplicity and complexity -- you can take it in at a glance and look into it forever to see more. Restrained color selection adds a lot of power to the piece, too. Just wonderful.
