I have a bunch of these "artistic" settings, Carol. I typically avoid all of them except for the occasional use of watercolor, but you've used the pencil sketch to create an interesting border. Never thought of that before. Sometimes I miss the Midwest. I have some photos from my trip back to Illinois a few years ago. This shot has inspired me to take a look at them and see what I have.
Carol, you've used an original approach for 'vignetting' this very fine B&W image ('vignetting' between quotes is in fact the by you called 'pencil sketch effect' to achieve a fine border). Good entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge, and well done!

You know of my fondness for barns and later this month I will be heading back to the U.S.A. in hopes of hunting down a few. Beautifully presented, Carol.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
