Terrific monotones and great subject for this time of year.

This is excellent, and would be perfect for the challenge R. I agree about the monotones in this one. ...S.

Looks beautiful in b/w. Nicely composed shot with good details.

Hope that my 'Pearly Gates' aren't closed by a fence, Richie.
Perfect B&W composition/image.

Fabulous photo and indeed has a pearly look. It could indeed be the pearly gates as it is a lychgate where he coffins would be rested on their way into the churchyard and the first prayers said there. Also kept the pallbearers and clergyman dry if it was raining.

Is it to be for the BWC ? (please ! )

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Spectacular shot and makes a wonderful B/W adds a lot of character to it, wonder if you have to answer questions first, lol
