I really thought my Perfect Moment bloom would be ruined after one solid day of rain, but when I came home from school this evening it was still lookin proud and I thought the raindrops added a special magic. I think I got a better focus on this (drats my camera!), so I hope you all like it.

Wow!!! Up close the yellows seem to glow with a light of their own. Very impressive capture!

Just keep repeating: Donna needs a new camera, Donna needs a new camera, Donna needs a new camera. Do it with the intention, If I had a new camera I could share beauty with the world.

I like it. It is in better focus. The raindrops do add magic.

This is amazing, Donna! Although I like the other one, too, the raindrops add interest and there's just a different feel to this one. Superior image; pat yourself on the back now!!

Oh my goodness. This is gorgeous. Red is suppose to be restful to the eyes. This composition puts me fast asleep, it is so restful. Love those water drops. The backlighting deep within the bloom is superb. I'm glad you filled the frame with this and did not try to post the entire bloom. It is a keeper.

I think that the clarity on this hard-to-capture color is excellent, especially given the closeup view you've accomplished. For the first time while viewing water on a flower, I feel like it's not a cooling element so much as the flower perspiring, and while that may not sound like a flattering comment, let me explain: The colors are so vivid and full of flame it seems to me that the petals are on fire, and if you look closely enough into the inner aspects of the flower, you'll be sure to see the raging inferno captivated in this most delightful of posts..You have done a superior job and it's in my faves :)PJ

Very nice job Donna, I think you did wonderful. Some things are just hard to capture because they seem to loose something. The pure beauty is just being there looking at it.

Gorgeous. Only problem is the focus would probably look better on the center of the rose, where it folds into that little circle. The focus is a bit below it. Otherwise, good job. The rain really did help. Beautiful.
