....the church in the village of Hambleden, Oxfordshire UK. The village is very small - just one shop, one church and of course one pub! ;) lol!

Very neat looking church Patti! Again I have to comment on that pretty green grass you still have there! Oh to see green grass again! (sigh) Mines all covered with white stuff now! lol I like all the wind vanes up on top the church. No doubt about which direction the wind is blowing!

This church is just beautiful Patti and you can tell that it must be pretty old from the tombstones shown. All the colors in this are gorgeous from the stonework on the church to the blue of the sky. Very pretty!

It's a lovely pic, of course, but I also found it strange that they make you walk through the graveyard in order to enter the church....hmmm..that's enough to put me off..lol.

Yes I am with Bob - just love it - a peep over the wall. The shadows add to the reality of this picture - just feel as though I could walk in for a closer look.
Super work.

And no houses? Smile. It is a very beautiful church and amazing for such a little village. You had a very special day, at least, thats what the sky tells me.

parts of the church date back to the 12th century Hans. There is some history here
