Taken at the top of Vernal Falls overlooking a 317 foot drop. Vernal Falls is in Yosemite National Park and this is the Merced River. This photo was taken at the end of May, 2006 during peak water flow.

wow very cool. The angle is really interestin, i like how the water is shooting out one way but then the stream goes off in a completely different direction (almost like its not part of the same river). I love how far you can see the river also, it goes on forever. the colors (inclucing the rainbow) are all very crsip and clean. nice work! ~abby
