a few questions, is that the same bird as the first eagle owl? same camera? and how do you get so close to these birds even with zoom? btw 20 celsius is about 75 fahrenheit while 20 fahrenheit is about -8 celsius, i think. anyway, i admire all of your pictures, do you only shoot digital or 35 mm as well?

Same bird? Yes
Same Camera? Yes
How? The bird was very close to the grid, I took the photo with the 'macro'
I use a numeric HP 715 (for Eagle-Owl) and an argentic Nikon F70
Thanks for your comments :-)

A great side view of this wonderful eagle owl, fine detail of the feathers, great shot. Enjoyed the first image of this bird as well.

This is an awesome photo! By looking at the photo there is no way to tell that you took this at a bird park (i hope i got that right). The depth of field is great, how you got it focused in tight on the Owls eye. Good job, one of the time where a bit of red eye adds to the pics :-)
