i love how he stands out against the background...i am not usually a duck photo fan, but this one is really nice...especially the detail and texture of the feathers.

heheh, this one really made me happy :) i came home and wanted to go to bed.. and i thought.. just few minutes at the caedes.net.. and then i came up with idea for a tour through your gallery, as i said before :)
this mallard looks so funny to me, maybe because of its position and countenance....look at him, standing proudly looking at the world like a king :) i really like his colours, i had always been impressed with mallards' green heads :D they look so unusual.. and yet they make me happy :) thank you for this image :)

It certainly is a "Beautiful Mallard." ... It's pictures like this that make me regret not finding Caedes sooner. I only came upon this because it was featured when I signed in today. As an avid bird lover I can really appreciate this capture. Fine piece of photography.
