The sun is exerting it's light for the last time before giving way to night and creating golden clouds in the process! I think the trees and house silhouettes adds an extra dimension to the pic.
I feel like I am fading. I've lost the Holy Ground. Maybe there's a chance, that the lost will be found.
If you saw a possum on the side of the road, would you too?
Just beautiful, Dean! It prompted me to take a closer look at your gallery! How I missed many of those great shots, I don't know, but from now on you'll be on my "friends" list so that I keep a closer eye on your great work! Wen
Sometimes nature is giving it's best, and if there happends to be a camera there, this is the result.
The house and the tree line up and strenghten the photo and they are composed well, silhouettes against the golden sky, makes one feel meek.
Great photo!
I didn't take the silhouettes into consideration when I first took the picture. But after looking at it, I noticed how cool the silhouettes made the picture look! At least to me ;)
Thanks everybody for your kind words!!
Hello Dean...I myself love taking pictures of dramatic skies and you have captured a dramatic sky.... it looks as though you have Learned the art of composition. The artistic value of a cloudscape often is determined by the arrangement of the various elements that comprise the final image and this you have done with the silhouette which enhances the sky...Well done...All the best...Mick.
Very rare cloud formation.formed in high atmosphere under complex and rarely seen conditions......and.this is a powerful, well lit.composed image.Favorite!
