A stunning shot Ted, I love it.
I may have considered cloning out the incomplete bird at he bottom.
The colours and the feeling of movement are superb. Congratulations on this shot.
Oh my! I have never seen such a clear and wonderful shot of seagulls before. And I've seen tons of them, since where I live there are so many of them flying all the time. This is absolutely perfect! Amazing waht the flash did and that sky is just awesome too. Great shot and am saving it for sure..Verena
great idea/execution here. the flash worked well, and the composition is top notch. i'm still seeing some artifacts around the edges of the gulls, especially in the foreground.

I'm very far behind in my comments due to some recent family issues so please forgive this generic comment. I have viewed this image and found it to be very good. I didn't want to pass it by with out mentioning it's beauty. Thank you for sharing it with us. You have created a very beautiful image and I envy your talent. I hope to view more of your work and give a more personal comment in the near future. Your images are awsome. Nice capture.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

I agree with the comments above. This is a very nice image. I want just to criticize the jpg compression here. When uploading at 1600x1080, you can see the result of the compression around the head of the main gull. It's a pity. Did you use the higher image quality of your cam?
Anyway, this is really beautiful :-)
