Spotted this guy, which I think is a skipper, on some osteospermum in an open air greenhouse I was visiting. He was somewhat battered for early in the year so maybe he spent the winter in the greenhouse.
Kathy, if I may judge the physical condition of this butterfly, I cannot rule out that it indeed spent the winter in the greenhouse. Regardless of its damaged condition, it is still an attractive element to give a visual contrast in the osteospermums.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!
