This is my favorite among the mixed colors of ranuncula I'm growing this spring. This was taken about a week ago as they are being battered this morning by severe thunderstorms. The greens on these look a little like celery tops.
Kathy, it's a very pity that your favorite Ranuncula was battered by severe thunderstorms. It may be a little consolation for you that you took this beautiful photograph in time, so that we too can enjoy its beauty, even if it's on our screen. My comparison may be wrong, but, to a certain extent, 'Saved by the bell', comes into my mind, 😁 !
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
