One of my favorite fog photos. The fog was so very thick, it truly felt like "pea soup"...but it was quiet and pure lovely to be in it. Please enjoy the feeling. Thank you for taking a look.

Another nice foggy shot from you. Good work!

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

It's rather difficult to 'catch' this so well known atmosphere in an image, but you've succeeded very well. Very good 'craftmanship' Verena!
Regards, Cornelius.

Fog always gives a hint of something more, of something there but somewhat hidden, of possibilites yet to unfold. You are very good at capturing the moods created by fog, V.

Verena - You have presented a very dramatic photo - the fog enveloping everything, leaving only a silhouette, with a bit of light at the top of the photo to give optimism to the tone. Beautiful work! Thad

Bare trees look much better in the fog then fully dressed ones. This is a great example X.

Such a wonderful, atmospheric picture Verena. It should be the set for a 1940's/50's film noir.

This is okay. I mean, if you like beauty and balance and subtlety and tranquility and how the little 'baby' trees linger and hug their 'mother' tree with fond affection and tenderness and how the fog shrouds everything in soft caresses I guess it's okay!!! J/K of course. Fabulous again Verena!!!!

This is a very beautiful treatment Verena. The shot evokes feelings of loneliness and mystery, but not hopelessness. It's a land hovering between life and death, in a struggle against the gloom that permeates the world. A long and heroic story told in one picture. Well done.

Lovely image, like the two "pet" trees, next to the big one u captured :), they make the shot no so solitary as are most of these kind of foggy shots.

What i don't like it's that it's a bit noisy for me, but that's just me. Nicely done anyway,

Paul

Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them, and each mind perceives a different beauty.
