After 10 inches of new fallen snow last night, Barney Buggy might be waitin' awhile. I asked a couple of horses if they were going out today and they both said: "Nay." All the Amish horses are feigning some type of injury, so Barney will be not be hooking up with one anytime soon. Perhaps Spring will come some day to the US. One can only hope.

This is a unique looking natural B&W white photograph and very cleave and interesting looking subject .Nice sharp detail very good compstion and I love the shine in this capture .This is one of them photo that you want to see more so roll on spring and the horses .

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I can understand very well why the Amish horses are feigning some type of injury now. Seems to be not a pleasure to make a ride in these severe weather conditions, but as Bob says, this winter has only a couple of days to go. Have patience my friend (I realize however that it's quite easy for me to say this, as we hadn't any snow up till now in my area).
Good entry for the challenge. When spring has finally arrived you, it's wise to replace it by a colored version, lol.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
I thought the horses would say "Hay" and not "Nay". No snow here as it's not gone down below 6°C (43°F) all winter but we do have winds gusting to 50 mph. Love the simplicity here and the stark contrast.
