This is a wonderful capture of exactly what it's like looking out a window on a rainy day. I like how it's been divided in half, even if it first draws the eye to the black in the middle. Here it's sort of divided between human and plant life, with the two people on the left and the leaves on the right. Good shot.

Nicely done. I had a feeling this was going to be a contest entry. IMO you have done exactly what people should be in this contest; the scene is actually made more interesting because you broke the rules. If you had focussed on the scene outside the window, it would have been pretty mundane; maybe even a snapshot. But by focussing on the window frame and leaves, you have made the scene outside pleasanty blurred, and we get the feeling of intimacy, almost as if we ourselves are sheltering inside and observing the wet conditions outside with you. Good luck in the contest, but whether you place or not I'm glad you took this.

I am definately enjoying the "feel" of this photo. Great job breaking the rules. I am certain a clear shot would not have given me the same pleasure in viewing. In fact, it would have probably been quite distracting. I do feel as if I am inside for all reasons stated well above me. Good luck!
