I thought this came out well. It's a close up shot of the waterfall in "Finlay Park: The best view in town" I did some tweaking, including removing the background and desaturating the image. Tell me what you think!
wow... normally I am not a fan of black and white pictures, but the contrast is quite eye catching. 8/10 for me, and the only I might do is run it through neat image and get rid of a little of the noise, clarifying the lines of the white water.
I like this. I don't think that I have much to say about the technique. I like the high shutter speed and the simplicity of the image. I'm curious about how much time it took to remove the background. My preference is usually to do the work with the photograph and not Photoshop, but that is just my preference.

Hey, Finlay Park! I've been to that spot lots of times. It really is one of the best views in town! I really like this shot. I enjoy the simpleness of it and the sense of movement. I think it captures the feeling of the place extremely well. Makes me homesick. ;)
Great shot, almost abstract looking! I like it a lot, the water contrasts amazingly against black background, creating a great effect. Very nicely done
Browsing your gallery and this stopped me. I think this is a captivating shot and it's great in B&W. The waterfall is awesome. Energy is pouring off of that waterfall
-marvelous. Love all the movement & how the water seems to be stopped in mid air..the spray can nearly be felt :*) Great work...thanks!
I really enjoy this shot, don't know what's going on with that c-index though :@!! - Guess some people like the smooth water effects of a slow exposure? :P This demonstrates how water captured at an ISO setting of several hundred can certainly evoke an awesome sense of power, drama, and exhilaration whereas the slower speeds lean more towards tranquility and calm aesthetic attributes. Maybe a use a tripod next time, however this is a spectacular shot! Good work :)
