Like the swamps around my home, such peace and quiet and stillness to match the heart when one falls in love. A wonderful photograph. Lovely presentation.

Jan, you are in the throes of infra red fascination! LOL It looks mysterious and beautiful. It's well done, although I would like to see it too in regular colours. :)
I saw in infrared "winner" the NAPP magazine, and it was good, but it wasn't, in my humble opinion, as good as this one...excellent use of that infrared technique.

Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi Jan,
Lovely and mysterious scene, exactly like in a fairytale movie, (~8 8~)
I absolutely enjoy how you play around with that IR-filter, got to look around for one myself I guess, looks like a nice toy, (~8
Beautifully done,
Had to revisit your gallery after reading your reply to my comments on your image; "Fairhaven garden trust 2".
I did not know that you had employed an infra red filter.
Very, very nice effect btw.
And I hope you don't mind me writing this, of the three photos that you have presented us with "...2" would be my favourite. It seems to me, and I am a novice of sorts ... that the balance of natural light and your camera settings in that particular setting worked best.
This one here ... love ... love the tonalities that you captured of the waters' surface. The exposure seems to be spot on there. Hmm, seems that the rest is slightly overexposed and loses some of that 'natural' look of the water that I perceive.
Would be great if someone more knowledgeable could come along and suggest an appropriate fix.
I could ... could see, applying a gradient layer over top ... 'dark' to transparent from the top down to lessen those areas.
Alternatively, backing off a half an F stop or so, less light and then conversely, applying a gradient layer over ... 'light' to transparent from bottom to top to compensate.
Many ways to skin this cat, as I really like the composition of this one too ... very much so.
Hope my drivel makes sense to you. And that you find some more opportunities to grace us with images of this kind.
To say that they are visually intriguing ... is an understatement. :o)
Hi Jan, you have captured the scene beautifully here. The colours a wonderful. I have never heard of the infared filter can you tell me a little more about it?
