"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
I actually like this one better because the buttocks of the tree is bare. The previous one had some foliage hanging about. You're very good at these Walters. Keep them coming Jan.
This is a very atmospheric picture Jan, I had a look at the other ones but I like this one more because of the colour variations. The bit of halo around the top branches looks a bit strange though.
I like the little plant next to the tree, looks like its baby! LOL Some great variation of colours in the sky, and you won't hear my complain! I love it Jan. :)
Nature couldn't have offered you a better palette than those two complimentary shades in this lovely sunset. The silhouetted tree adds to the beauty of this wonderful nature scene. Beautiful, Jan.
It's lovely Jan, like one of those cocktails where the different layers of drink sit on top of one another. Although with this one I suppose you'd have to be careful not to choke on the tree ;-)
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.
