I absolutely love the vibrant colors against the dark background. It's beautiful as a desktop ... very easy to look at. It's very crisp and clean-looking. Well done!
I really like a black background to set off floral presentations. The off-centered effect gives it such an artistic touch and the apricot color comes through so cleanly. It's beautiful, June. 10.
A great job, June...I'm also partial to the dark background and that apricot shade is so warm and sunny...much needed on yet another cold day here in T.O.:Pat.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
You're right, the black is really what makes the picture. Isn't it great how the negative space in a picture ends up being essential? Never would have thought....
June,
This is a stunning image. The balck blackground really sets off those wonderul pastel colors of the flowers. I would like you to PM me if I may so request and fill me in on your backgound. Thanks

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.

Hello Robert, nice to hear from you and I am flattered you are taking such an interest in my image. I will send you a pm to tell you how I did it. You know it is so much simpler to preset the background than it is to remove it and change it, lol.

Hello Mimi, I am so glad that you like this one! I think there is something magical about these new flowers! Perhaps the love that goes with it?
Hugs,

This flower is just soo beautiful....And what make it so beautiful? The black background of course! it makes it stand out so good.....Very good composition u have made here June!
In fact one of your best in my opinion! Well Done!
Very nice June. I think this could have used a bit more light as it is a little grainy which probably happened from the camera. I like the composition:-)
Hello Robert, thank you. I actually had it in a dim lit room on black velvet. It was just laying there, I guess I had the right placement, I am pleased with the outcome.
