Windsor castle UK is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world and is one of the official residences of the Queen..It was originally built by William the Conqueror in the 11th Century…..I converted this photo from colour to black and white, then added back colour... By converting the photo to black and white I think it has given the scene a special mood and atmosphere…..Please enjoy

It does give it a definite mood with the color drained out of it Mick. The green adds punch. Excellent work.

A splendid piece of work, Mick! I like the effect you've achieved with this image. The green trees around the castle look terrific, and I like the dark, ominous sky. Rendering the castle in B&W seems to have transferred the dramatic mood created by the clouds to the buildings. A fine bit of creative post-work!

OooooOOO! Cool! I love castles! Very nicely done!

Just a quick idea that struck me (Don't worry, I hit it back)... To add an orangish (sunsetish/fire color) to the background instead of the blue, and fade in a picture of a dragon launching itself skyward into the background behind the castle. You'd have a fantasyish shot...

Still, it's an awesome picture! Keep it up!

Like a fairy-tale! Such dramatic clouds for a backdrop~ gives it a feel as if it is floating in the sky. The B&W then adding the color really did it justice. Very creative Mick :)
