Last weekend I spotted this little girl stopping to befriend a dog patiently waiting for it's owner. They had quite a conversation :) They are both unknown to me.

This is certainly a cute capture Lyn and the B/W works nicely! It appears as if she is telling the dog that she doesn't have a treat for him. What a sad expression! Nice work!

Marvellous closeup and clarity...very endearing shot and looks great in b/w...do hope it will go in the challenge...no reason why you too shouldn't participate, Lyn.
I think it's also a good candidate for the current Photo Journalism contest. That style is usually human interest of some kind and this certainly fits that category. A fun capture, Lyn. -Nik

Some kids are great with animals, I know ! But the point is always the animal's attitude. When the animal [dog I mean of course LOL] is a patient one, the success is almost granted. This one here looks like an angel of patience !!! LOL Great image, thanks, dear LE. SAM & authoritatively SAAB
Absolutely wonderful Lynn!! This exemplifies perfectly the theme for the contest. You've captured a wonderful expression of concern here without even seeing the young girls face but just at those "puppy" eyes! That says it all. Superb image my friend:)
