Thank you! E.J. to answer your question if I shot them in the wild. Yes and no. I shot them in a pond near to that farm house that keeps al kind of birds. Remember that mandarin duck?
However, these Bittern are definitely wild, but attracted to all the others birds. They probably use the place like a Mc Drive...

A truly beautiful shot. In the United States we would call
them immature Black Crown Night Herons. Google Bittern and
then Google Black Crown Night Heron. Wikkipedia has the best
picture of the immature bird. Still, a very nice shot.
