My wife went horse riding...and saw the ghost of John Wayne. Hmm, I don't know if that was true, BUT, the place is magical, that's for sure!

Fabulous perspective on a much photographed scene. John Wayne was not my hero, but he was lucky to see this too.

It seems as if I could stick my hand out and run it over the rocks and feel the texture of the near one.
Fantastic and beautiful picture.
And now I hear Dale Evans and Roy Rogers in my head singing"Happy Trails To You".

Come, my friends, 'tis not too late to seek a new world. Push off, and sitting well in order smite the sounding furrows; for my purpose holds to sail beyond the sunset, and the baths of all western stars, until I die. Tennyson, "Ulysses"

One of my favorite places to view Paul. I have never been there in person but John Ford, John Wayne and the U.S. Cavalry took me there many times.
I know the vehicles were left for perspective but I don't think they were needed in this one. Excellent camera work.

This is a different perspective on the "mittens" of the valley. An outstanding capture but I think I might have pulled out the travelers and the road. Just for the heck of it.
