Another breath-taking composition, Gregory. The stillness and silence is almost palpable! Absolutely beautiful, and I love the contrasting greens on left and right of the image and also the strong recession created by the hills and skyline in the distance. Every pixel is the landscape artist's perfect reference picture!
Nice one, I really like the reflection in the still water with the light in the center to show where the reflection begins, good lighting too, cant see a thing to improve!
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
The stillness of water and the serenity in the air is what makes the capture so exceptional. You definitely know very well how to compose the shot to make it an eye-delight...
Natural composition is not easy. The beautiful places oft give us too much to capture, and of that we are supposed to choose on objectiveful of the best scene. Here, I believe, you have done a superb job. Serenity, peace just breath out of this photo.
10/10, an instant favorite.
What a wonderful landscape shot... and a nearly perfectly smooth mirror lake. Looks like it's quite a ways from any civilization, so I do imagine it was very quiet.
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>
