This jetty on the Lake of Veere, Zeeland, The Netherlands, is only meant for passing boats. The boat owners can moor here temporary in order to take, with their guests and crew members, a look at the wonderful medieval town of Veere. As you can see, this opportunity is very widely used.

This is my entry for this week for the B&W challenge

That is a beautiful sailboat, Mr. C. I know this owner spends a lot of time keeping all that wood stained and polished. This is a wonderful shot of the transient dock with all the sailboats at rest and it looks wonderful in b&w (for the challenge).

Super duper black and white, Mr. C. Love the angle of the shot, and the view of the boats. Excellent work.

Parking only for a short while like the cars on a busy street. Sharp details even enhanced by the B/W version. Nice one for the b/w challenge Cornelius.

Superb clarity and such an interesting image Cornelius. Love the lead-in the jetty gives and the inclusion of the people.
I have it on the list to add to the BWC tomorrow, thank you :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This is a cool image in B&W showing the lovely ships and the lifestyle of those that own them. Good shot for the challenge.

Like the long perspective of the pier and the range of wonderful monotones from dark to light. Excellent entry Mr. C.
