pretty much the same as the last one, i just cranked every slider in USM to the max, and it brought out a red colour, and made it look a bit sharper. i personally like this version more, what do you think?

I like this one the best. Beautiful pendulum photography. I found a website for Pendulum Photography that has some good information on how to create this type of image. I tried to do this with my digital camera but the shutter only stays open for 15 second on bulb. Great job and 10 from me.

I am really amazed that this is photography. You did an awesome job! How did you set it up, if you don't mind me asking? Will a 30 second shutter be enough?

The sharpness on this is rather spectacular, considering. Also, the lack of drastic color is not a problem. Thanks for posting this, and I mean that. Will you be doing more of this work?

um, 30 seconds will do, although im pretty sure this one was quite a bit longer, however it would be just fine if you were to shorten the length of the string the light is attached to (the light is on a 5 foot string from the ceiling and the camera is on a tripod looking up) so a shorter string would make it swing more times in a given time period, however friction becomes a bigger factor, and the lines might become more widely spaced. i'll do more if i ever come across a neat light > something like an LED that changes colour, or flashes or something. there is kinda a limit to what you can do without having the camera swing also, so i dont think i could add much by doing it again
