If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Darryn, I brought your image (first because I liked it!) to my domaine and then tried (because of Nik's suggestion) adjusting it using Contrast, Curves, Contrast&Curves and Curves&Contrast. Of the modded images, my eye seems to prefer the Curves&Contrast... they are all different but they are all VGood! I reduced the brightness slightly using Curves and increased the Contrast 13.
