...if only we stop to admire it! ....en route home from Derbyshire, this view is from my car window ...some people are lucky enough to live right in the depth of this beautiful countryside as you can see the odd house dotted here and there! ...Now I need a plan so I can do that too ...meanwhile, back in suburbia! .... I will print this off in massive scale and put it on the wall on my bedroom wall! :)

It's a beautiful world... but I wouldn't want to paint it. Terrific job, Patti. Enjoying the frame immensely. Super job.

Very beautiful world indeed! I've always loved the way the "texture" of the English countryside....the varied colors and hues of the land, divided into different shapes of varying sizes by the rock walls...outstanding shot, as usual!

It always seems like the best places to be are the places where you DON'T live and you become so jealous of the people who do!!! If only life were that easy...we would have excellent views like this everyday!

What a multi-talented lady you are Patti, being able to drive and take fine photographs at the same time! And what splendid countryside. Unlike many of your shots, however, this one seems slightly undertoned in its colours. Many might suspect a ND filter on the end of the camera, but I have a hunch it's the tinted glass of a Ferrari. N'est-ce pas? :)

I did create two versions of this photograph - one with much stronger colours and contrasts and this one. I quite liked the softness of this one. I will post the other one later and let you decide which is best then delete the other one. :)
