i had thought about mentioning perspective control for an experiment but the rake of the building adds to its imposing height
wow this is a fantastic night shot. very rarely do you see one so clear, they're always so fuzzy. you must have a magic way of doing it or your camera must be really good. i'd love to know! anyway about the picture, i just love it. the shadows are great the moon is awesome and so are the clouds. love the school too. great one.
you have a very nice gallery as well!
You remember the great fire from 1979 that supposedly started in your garage where that chipmunk ingested some fertilizer and fell into a can of kerosene, instantly turning into a flying little fluffy little molotov cocktail that set a blaze leveling the whole neighborhood west of Newton's Hardware Store?
I really like this one. It has a great feel to it. The eerie luminosity (Is that a word) to the sky in the background, and the nicely lit front of the building provide an awesome sense of depth.
The contrast in colors and brightness are good too. It is one of those pictures that you feel like you could just walk into. Also one of those that you feel has a story to tell. Something important is going on somewhere in that building! I just have to write what it is!!
Great job! Keep it up!
Caiden.
P.S. If you get the chance, take a look at my gallery, and let me know what you think. Any comments, criticisms, or advice would be welcome. Have a great day!
People may flatter themselves just as much by thinking that their faults are always present to other people's minds, as if they believe that the world is always contemplating their individual charms and virtues.
