This shot is young plantings of dune grass at the Jersey shore. Dune grass has an aesthetic quality about it however, the main purpose of dune grass acts as an anchor against shifting sand and cuts coastal winds. The dunes are a natural barrier to the destructive forces of wind and waves, sand dunes are our first line of defense against coastal storms and beach erosion. They absorb the impact of storm surge and high waves, preventing or delaying flooding of inland areas and damage to inland structures. This is my entry to the "Vanishing Point" contest.

My eye is drawn to the Casino??? so this is a great entry. If that is a Casino; it truly is a vanishing point for your money.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
I think this is an excellent choice for entry Laura - it's different than what's already in and is an excellent image as well.
