The wooden walkway across the hill to Morsardalur, Skaftafell NP, Iceland. The ground here was pretty boggy, despite being so high up - there were hundreds of tiny natural springs flowing out everywhere. Thus this wooden walkway had been built, a lovely lead-in line to the impressive mountains across the valley. Unfortunately, I didn't get many more photos from this particular hike, this was the most scenic part, but I was pleased with this nonetheless. An ND grad helped balance the late afternoon sky, as ever :-)

Great angle, great colors! It's awesome. The mountains seems almost computer-generated. Excellent colors, wonderful shot!

This is a wonderful perspective for this shot. The walkway seems to go on forever - right into the mountains.

When first seen, the photo struck me as a manipulation. You are very clever to have caught the light and the perspective. A mind-bending image.

Wow, that is so neat!! I LOVE the way you've captured this shot, the long path stretching into the distance... I mean, wow ... great perspective! Gorgeous sky, too. Wonderful job.

For me this is already a reward for hiking and I wish I could be there with you to admire these breathtaking sceneries. I like the wooden walkway leading us right in the direction of the impressive mountains in the distance. The stunner goes right to my favourites folder!

If you admire nature for its creations why don't you visit the gallery of its reporter...

Magical ! Its probably very rare to find a place like this in the world. Love the flowers sitting alongside the path, it just blends very well with the colour of the sky and the mountain. Its path to another town probably. Into my favourites!

If that plank walk would be in here Pennsylvania it would be paved in asphault.
...but since it isn't; it is beautiful, and from the looks of the hills, highly volcanic.
