Excellent, Joseph. High interest picture. Her gingham dress contrasts well with the worn wood, drawing your eye right to the subject of the photo. What a cute daughter, too. My youngest is about her age. Peace and respect to you, my friend.
Hi Joseph
This is indeed an excellent shot....and should become a postcard in m.h.o.
My daughter is in the same age too...and the girls of these age have such wonderful fragility.
You used that perfect in this shot...and she is in great contrast with the barn.
I love the texture feeling of the weathered wood..and the crispness of her dress. Then the curiosity seeps thru the fence crack...and her hands...tell the story. Very lovely shot!
Fantastic photo, Jojo! Did you set her up or was this a natural capture. Either way, another story photo that stirs the imagination! A great photo, a great image!
Great capture of human nature and I agree, the clarity and detail of the texture of the wood and the light dress on the young girl adds interest and the pleasant feeling of country life...very sweet and pleasing to the eye and soul.:Pat.
The beautiful light highlights the clothes of your model. Well done.
Maybe the composition would be better if the girl was 'off-centered'. Then you could better use the ladder at left. What do you think my friend? :-)
Curiosity is correct! This wonderful shot seems to tell a whole story. She's so bright and lively in the worn, muted surroundings. Good job pop, you'll keep this one for the memories ages from now
This is a very, very good ... and very sweet photo.
You captured quite a bit in this image. I love the composition, and slightly disagree with ppigeon ... the ladder serves a better purpose fully exposed and off center as it is.
Great detail, very clean. The little splashes of colour perfectly offset and enhance that of the fence and it's own texture.
Really great 'balance,' overall ... I think that would be the operative word. Thank you for sharing what surely is a gift to you ... and now, in a photo, a gift to us.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, then there's wallpaper and then there's wallpaper. How precious.Your a fortunate man. Perfect photo in every respect.Pat
This so reminds me of how I felt at that age. Though I had no protectors at the time. I so thank all who commented on her innocence and fragility. I hope you have been able to protect her as she deserves.
