no flash Pierre but 2 o clock in the afternoon and not a cloud in sight.
I would have liked some more background but with the light available this was the best i could do.

You did very well with the light that you had on this image. It came out mighty clear and without noise. My camera has trouble with those conditions and I have very little adjustment. You do good all the time Kristof.
Perhaps my standards aren't as high as some, but to my eye, I see no washed out areas at all...this bird is white, and white is what it is, no matter what sort of lighting you have unless it is just blatantly overexposed, which of course, this is not. I beg to disagree with the powers that be, and bow to their superior knowledge when it comes to technical prowess, but I think this is perfectly beautiful and is a joy to the eye. :)PJ
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life....it comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday." John Wayne.
I'm behind in my comments again. I just want you to know that I've viewed this image and found it to be very nice. I've enjoyed viewing it and thank you for posting it. Have a wonderful holiday season.
