What you really meant was ... New Clear Winter .. Right? .. because this is christmas-like

and .. do you do post work in Photoshop or the like? ... a little occassional drop shadow might look good with the light backgrounds

Nice work on this, Lauren, and thank you for the comment on Piering. I'm glad you liked that photo, the bird definitely appears to be in control of its surroundings in a regal way.

Keith already hit on my impression of this one. It feels christmas-like. Obviously the colors form a bit of a holiday pallete, but also the shapes almost form ribbons. It looks a bit like some sort of wreath. At any rate, very pleasing to look at, great work :).

I agree - it definatly has a Chrismassy feel, especially the inner spiky bits - they remind me a lot of those red and green christmas flowers. A very nice render!
