out of the 403 pictures from my trip to Bison Ranch, Arizona. At a high point overlooking The Painted Desert you can follow the black ribbon of trail way making it's twists and turns among the strange formations of multitude of colors ranging from lavenders to shades of gray with vibrant colors of red, orange and pink. I hope you like the rainbow of colors in this barren but beautiful landscape

Wow, is that barren country all right. It does make me think of the moon, but I don't think there are any trails up there yet. Amazing view from here, Diane. I think I'd be afraid to look directly below, but looking out to the horizon, I can see what a vast part of the landscape you were able to capture so well.

It looks like a shallow Grand Canyon. I would love to see this place. I love the layers in the rocks and all the formations. Beautiful shot, Diane.

Think how old this has to be, but still can produce beauty. What a terrific capture.

Have in the time that I'm on Caedes, never seen a similiar image, Diane. Breathtaking and wonderful capture.

S+F of course. Thanks for that, my friend.

It is a beautiful shot Diane. I like the dark ribbon of a river winding through the beautifully textured rocks. It looks like the kind of place artists would go for inspiration.

A wonderful and rare sight Diane. The odd shapes of the rocks, the different colours over the whole area and the black ribbon with its curves - all these together make this a beautiful image.

Diane - This terrain is barren, yet filled with interesting features. The trails look like snakes slithering their way among the rock mountains. Excellent image! Thad
