Anthony, this is one of the most original captures I have seen in many years. And I have been around for a while. Excellent job. Please by all mean copyright this image. This is a winner. THis is hall of fame stuff. Just do it, and I mean in the morning.
Excellent example of how a simple composition can affect...the atmosphere of this lonely dark scene is undeniably compelling...bound to touch all who view it in one way or another, depending on their emotions or fears...superb capture...favs and top marks.:Pat.
wow, this is more than a simple pic, it gives out so much feeling, the lonilyness is overwhelming from first glance.... excellent concept and execution, definetely 10/10.
Wow..talk about "in the still of the night" this is sooooooo very very lonely looking, but such a great shot, so simple and so filled with drama. I can see you took the time to ponder on this and then take the shot....so well done. The phone booth looks so lost in the darkness and then that light glowing over it...like that was the only thing important..I love how there are NO other building and things showing..very well done. This shows your capability of a photographer!! V
Really nice image, very well composed. There does seem to be a fait few artifacts, mainly around the phone booth, not sure if this happened after you uploaded it? If not I wonder if you could use NeatImage or similar to clean it up a bit. Other than that this would be right at home in a gallery.
Yeah, there is a bit of noise, i tried to clean it up a bit before posting, it was film scan from a drug store photo lab so i didnt expect super high quality-also some of the black areas were slighlty gray, i had to add a bit of contrast. Noisy film scans are never fun but u do with it what u can. Thanks for the comment and the time spent actually paying attn to detail.
FANTABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the very best photos I have ever seen! Such an eerie and excellent capture! I almost expect to hear a ghostly riiiiing.....
I've been out a while so I'm just catching up on a few galleries and this one just jumped out at me. I love the stark composition, it looks like a well lit theater stage. This one reminds me of Door 353 which I still use and it will make a great companion piece in my rotation. It has the eerie feeling of a sinister invitation.
this is amazing.. it reminds me of the broken communication between people
i love how from the first second i saw this it started to make me think deeply, feeling the lonliness but thinking deeply none the less. I can see that it make's an impression on a lot of it's viewers like that.
