Isn't amazing how water appears on photos? almost like a fog...sliding downward...This is an awesome photo Michael! The colours are so amazing...I imagine it was just gorgeous up there...good thing there IS runoff..here in ORegon we dont have much...didnt have much snow this year again..I love your photos, I think you know that...bravo my friend!
Well I'd say you have that long exposure thing down to a science. Actually given the explanation you gave us for reciprocity failure I think it's literally true. I think you're the one who introduced the technique of the long exposure here on Ceades.net, and I appreciate it.
I agree, Michael. Your photos make me homesick for that part of the country, where everything is green. I spent some time up in the Washington penninsula a year or so ago. Gorgeous country.
Once again, I feel that I have so much further to go to consistently capture images like this. Not a bad thing, mind you, just something to aim for. Thanks for the inspiration.
the composition is very good, it gives a sense of the power of the water. the highlights are blown out a bit but that could be fixed with a opaque clone brush.
