Too bad he moved his head at that split second Pierre but am glad you posted this. The color is amazing and I LOVE color. ;) I've always wanted a parrot but I think they are most beautiful and better off in their own natural settings.
Thanks to all :-) Taken in the Paradisio park - Belgium. A very nice park where animals feel happy.
Darryl: It didn't speak (when we were there...)
Josh: what is an 'eye catcher'?
My last ducks pictures were taken at the same place.
He looks like an accident in a paint factory, but the colours just add to his beauty. And the movement of his head adds life to the picture - great capture, Pierre:-)
i'm on a tour through your gallery.. i wish i had done it before.. :) this one is absolutely amazing, the clarity is great... and the colours, i'm speechless, they are so vivid and beautiful! too bad the parrot didn't want to be photographed :( besides that, the image is wonderful! you *must* be quicker next time :)
I don't mind that he moved his head. The photo captures him doing what birds do. It is well focused and certainly a subject not to be passed up. My only suggestion would have been to try to get the whole tail into the picture. Never the less, a quite beautiful capture.
The Creator went bazerk with the ole paintbrush on this bird. Mercy. I think it fell onto a paint pallete and splashed around awhile. Beautiful. I would cloned out that little branch curling up and over the main limb. It adds confusion as whether that was part of the pigeon's foot or not. None the less, a magnificent capture from the resident expert-YOU!
