And I quote Stylo (a Manipulation is the movement or adding, taking away pixels...not decorating them. it takes PS or a program that will allow layering and even layer masking. it will also challenge all the skills you have and your to its max!) Was hoping for Eyes.......but go with the flow for this image I added and removed in 8 layers gave a store manikin life took life away turned him into a wooden block tor of half his face and gave him a new eye (made it myself) so think I got the imagination and excessive covered and Eyes. All images are of my own camera as is with all Trash Art images. I use Paint.net for all my work has a good user interface and render time. As to who posted the contest topic ...........was sure eyes was going to be it but excessive manip. just took of like a B out of H but did leave my vote on eyes. Am short one eye huuuummmm.....

Well the "Eyes" have won and you have a myriad of images to enter, Rob. TA 0542 is a prime example and excellent entry, should you choose so. Your giving and taking of life from store manikins remains remarkable!

You and Sty really bring forth the manipulations, and both have tried to explain the work force behind them. I will be very curious as to the entries and outcome of the eyes contest. Rob, this is again excellent. tigs^..^=

The eye You left in (and made - which is remarkable) looks very sad Rob. The wooden effect is so beautiful on these works of art that You create. Keep up the good work.

Wow Nelly! Made me stop and expand to take in the full image. What a delight. This is superb indeed. I wonder though if you could have called it 'Pinocchio at 18'? He's all grown up, spots, hairs and attitude.

Different is GOOD! Different is ART! different is something this site NEEDS! we are feared for these reasons:

{Choose to be different, You choose to stand alone!
you're criticized only because of admiration through jealousy & fear of the unknown,
this will be the price you pay.
Rights are only earned to speak up, be heard and speak! nothing in life is free!
Beliefs to stand tall & rise above come with most certain disagree.
from other's faults, as they cowardly crawl, to fit in & blend, not taking a chance to fall.
Following the same paths other's will take, heads hung so low. how could you not expect anything else but..Criticism within a hell hole so far and down below?}

We Stand tall and choose to post what we think is art! big thumbs up on a fine "MANIPULATION" Rob!

THE UTMOST RESPECT...Stylo

Emptiness is not nothingness. It is simply the opposite of full of it.

Does his nose grow when he lies, or does that only happen to other wooden boys? Great textures and tones in this image, Rob.
