Reminds me of Hockney again.excellent, as usual, the colours are quite soft and belie the anxiety i experience here...........lots of hidden places-leading to?. a bit of a maze even! If you are looking for severity, this has it.but the pastels are not conducive to it.perhaps you did this on purpose?? (What happened to Study of a Man post??)

Don't know why but I really like this. Perhaps it's the mystery of the place. Austere, maybe, but soft. The shadow work is neat, and the gold-green-brown complement eachother well.

Hi Simon

This type of work I don't recall seeing from u before. It's very 3D, and I can clearly see light from a concealed sun castiing illumination / shadows on the lovely home subject.

Nice one: Phil

I like this a lot. To me it is so architectural - Frank Lloyd Wright or Bauhaus buildings. Your painting has such lovely soft colours and is very mellow!

I especially like your use of light and color on this one, and the composition is very pleasing.
