Muddied and murky with flashes of blinding disorienting light. Unformed shapes with jagged flesh tearing edges that appear to leap and then retreat off the page. Familiar yet unknown.
Would love to see the original rather than the copy.

Redon is known for his mystery treatments.this has an iconic appearance.......chimera is the correct term......a bit jangling to the nerves somehow

'tis like those dreams where the harder you try to see something, the more obscure and elusive it becomes. A nameless shape so close to materializing, so laden with ineffible emotions. How big is this piece? It is very intriguing. cheers, Quiet

ohhhhhh i like this one! it is intrieging (dunno how to spell it but you know what i mean) and i have to keep looking at it to see what may emerge from the darkness.

Nightmares are often recalled as complicated collages of scenes and feelings. The mishmash of energy cannot be easy to reduce to simple elements, a restricted palette and still pique the primal mind with fear, uncertainty, discomfort. You've done it here. Reminds me of an old, murky daguerreotype with all its uncertainty and hidden possibilities. Tip of the hat.
