An intriguing macro.
The photo itself is disorienting and I was unsure at first whether a macro or not, but the foreshortened appearance helped my feeble brain take the leap.
Mechanical with dark corners and hidden meanings. Could well be a cautionary tale of all things technical and a reminder that the essential aspect of life is spiritual.
Or is this the product of my warped (As I have been told so many times here. lol)mind?
Hmmmm...looks like the inside of computer case...I seem to remember barking my hands on some of these metal parts more than once. If I'm wrong, my hat's off to you for presenting such an intriguing puzzle :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>

Guten tag Simon
As You have uploaded this under Photography>General I wanna take a guess. I believe it could well be a discarded printer/scanner, is there a prize for the winner ? if so I'll prefer food stamps should I win.
Auf wiedersehen lieber freund

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.
I vote for the old printer... I seem to recall having to reach in there to retrieve lots of snagged paper... it comes out real slow... in little tiny pieces... Yes, that's it!
mary :-)))
A real "shaft".you are geting quite good yourself, mein freund.lieber? qui sait? Excellent as usual as you are applying your skills in chalks to this medium.........
Nice mystery you've got going here. Will you chime in and resolve the question of what this subject actually is? Cool shot that begs to be looked at, evaluated and reevaluated.
"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
