I can see the Chinese influence in this piece and I really like the birds heading up into the sky. Nice one!

To my simple mind it appears there's a heavy storm abrewin too so batten down the hatches. A departure from Your regular themes, is it a new piece ?

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.

The swirling visual manifestation of wind and thought with two lone intrepid voyagers defying the pull and lure of the brightly colored distractions of the solid, tangible, and dependable to pursue the unknown and spiritual. The call of something better consuming the horizon.

I see the birds you mention.. and a vista on to a river, where a fog bank is turning over itself. There is a bridge in the distance. It is morning. But.. that's just me. I really like this one Simon.

Very abstract and original.. I like the fluidness here. Turning the chalk to the side and useing a one stroke technique gives this piece all it needs. The added water color makes the wave effect stand out nicely, well done.

"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
