We are getting a lot of overcast and rainy days which means low light photography. I was shooting some 400 ISO stuff and was pleased with this (although I was not paying enough attention to framing). Enjoy. 60mm MACRO, 1/60 sec, f10, 400 ISO

Good shot. Nice exposure and focus. Some thing I should say about the composition though. Since non of the leafs are completely captured there is some thing missing in the shot. I feel like its not completed.

Yup..I know about the framing issues .. sorry .. my only excuse is that was actually just a shot for high ISO detail testing but it looked so cool I ran out to re-take the shot as soon as I saw it ... but it had all blown away. It just shows that you never know what will be worth keeping.. I still like the water drops.

See, the framing issue doesn't bother me at all. Actually, I find the pure quality to be enough to overcome it. I think it's beautiful. The colors, green and purple, look wonderful together. Very artistic. I like it very much.

I often dream about things that don't exist. And in those dreams, I'm often taking photographs that I plan to put on Caedes... and when I wake up... I'm disappointed because it wasn't real.
This is very pretty! I love the purple leaves with the green background...and those water droplets add such a nice touch.Great post...I can almost smell that rainy day smell... :)

This image is perfect, imho. I've come to really like this plant this year (just bought one) - their rich colors are such a nice spice in an otherwise uniform spread of greenery. Anyway, back to the picture.. amazing!
