I think butterflies fit the Foofy Friday we do each week here on Caedes.

I appreciate your comments, thank you in advance.

I decided to join Sty in entering what should have been a depth of field contest, and not letters and numbers which was either a glitch or controlled in some way. Votes or not this is my way of showing my thought on the current contest. :)

Sandi, whether it meets the Foofy Friday criterion or not (if there is any), you've provided us with a splendid, crystal clear, addition to this already wonderful series. Let's call it a BFI (Butterfly Friday Image), lol. Perfectly done again, my friend!

Sharp focus on the butterfly on that beautiful green background.

My guess, Tigs, is that Doug Bays (Snapshooter 87) would say that the subject should not be centered and that the butterfly should be cropped tighter. That's what I think Doug would say.

I (the other Doug), think the center frame positioning on the horizontal branch works rather well. I try to stick to the "rules", but they can be bent when appropriate. Super sharp and a splendid photo, Sandi.

A fave for me Sandi - crystal focus on the b'fly and the lush greens really make him pop. I personally feel the comp is perfect - nicely balanced.

I like this very much as is, but if you did take Roger aka Doug Bay's advice, I think the clarity and crispness of your shot would easily tolerate a crop to bring in this beauty a little closer.

The blurred background, a sea of green, show off this beautiful butterfly. I like the use of open space and the leaves framing the butterfly. Wonderful photography!

Great shot of this beautiful butterfly Sandi.
The really scale of the butterfly is given by the framing of this shot.
Very well done.
