I rarely see bluebirds, so this is a real treat. My daughter and I are enjoying watching him and the female build a nest in the birdhouse. I used the Nikon D500 with the Nikkor 70-200mm lens, this has been cropped but no other editing. Tomorrow I will be leaving the house very early, so I will have to catch up on my commenting. Sandi, your capture don't show the female bluebird. I was told however that, in contrary with humans, in the animal world the males are more beautiful when compared to the females. I take this for granted as I can't imagine that a female bluebird would be more beautiful than the by you perfectly captured male one, 😁 !.
