While waiting for the render I am posting after this one, I played around with my Parum Universitas image. Cropped it in and tweaked the colors a good bit. I really liked the outcome, so I thought I would share. Enjoy. Ty.
Wow. Wow! This is really amazing! The colors, the reflections, the backdrop, the depth of field, the framing, everything! Absolutely outstanding. I think it is worlds above the other post, even though that one is also very well done.
Mimicking a camera with the depth of field is a really cool effect. I don't know why, but the out-of-focus areas look very harsh. It is just like the rough bokeh of a cheap lens. I am contemplating putting this in my very limited favorite's gallery, but it would be a shoe-in if the background were a bit smoother. Do you think you could make a repost with either grain removal or a softened backdrop?

Ah gorgeous. I do believe it's officially photo perfect ;-) I think the grain is good. It's enough to add depth but I don't feel it's overpowering; it gives good contrast between the smooth edges of the marbles as well.
A paradox of depth and focus brings this picture into the realms of enchantment, and opacified decadence. The monochorme effect is subtle on the eyes and distiles the user from their surroundings and plunges them into focal (or non-focal?) world of the Mirabile Visu. This picture portrays that the mystery of what lies beyond (Life? Love? Universe?). shouldn't be questioned but indeed is a reality to experience.
A well deserved thank you to xyccoc
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
